Rental request privacy notice
Prelaunch draft — subject to confirmation before launch. Shift is a working brand for a rideshare rental service powered by DDE Luxury. This notice describes the intended rental request workflow. The operating company, privacy contact, retention periods, and final service providers must be confirmed before public applications open.
Information you provide
The rental request form asks for your name, telephone number, email address, preferred city, vehicle tier, intended start date, rideshare platform, and permission to contact you about your request. Do not include a driver's license, Social Security number, payment card details, or other sensitive documents in this form.
How your request is intended to be used
The rental team uses these details to respond to your inquiry, discuss eligibility and vehicle availability, and coordinate next steps. Submitting the form does not reserve a vehicle, approve you as a driver, or create a rental agreement. Permission to respond to a request is separate from consent to unrelated marketing.
Storage and service providers
The planned service uses Vercel to host the website and Supabase to store submitted rental requests. Authorized rental staff will need access to requests to respond. Hosting and database providers may process technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Rental requests are private operational data and are not intended to be published in the website's content or source code.
The final retention schedule, access controls, deletion process, and any additional providers will be documented before launch. This draft does not establish a specific retention period or promise that every record can be deleted immediately.
Journal readership
We measure article views to understand which guides are useful. Browser views and recognizable automated crawler requests are reported separately. Visitor totals are estimates based on a one-way keyed hash of technical connection information; the analytics database does not store raw IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, or referring URLs. This measurement does not use tracking cookies.
Article-view records are kept for up to 35 days and removed by an hourly cleanup. Our website administrators can see aggregate readership reports. Automated-traffic classification is approximate, and shared connections or privacy tools can affect visitor totals.
Questions and privacy requests
A verified company name and privacy contact will be added here before applications open. The final notice will explain how to ask about, correct, or request deletion of your information and any rights that apply where you live.
